The Texas Biennial is an independent survey of contemporary art in Texas. In 2011, as a guest lecturer hosted by Texas State University, a series of photographs, hand pulled screen-prints, animations and video titled Jesus Cornbread & the Alcoholics were presented exploring character archetypes and concept development. The result led to a teaching position at Texas State University in School of Art and Design.
